Four stages, a second linguist on every job, and an honest answer to "is this just AI with a markup."
Order directly from the rate card for standardised work, or send a quick enquiry for bespoke projects. Either way, you tell us the document, service or date — not a sales team.
For purchasable services, the price is fixed the moment you order. For quoted work, we confirm a price after reviewing your material — usually within one working day.
A translator matched to your subject area works on your document. A second qualified linguist then reviews it before it goes anywhere near delivery — this step never gets skipped to save time.
Digital delivery by email is the default and included in every price. Certified work can be posted as a stamped hard copy, or collected in person at Elkenbachstraße 46.
One translator, however good, can miss something — a mistyped number, an idiom that doesn’t quite land, a term that’s technically correct but not the one your industry actually uses. The four-eyes principle means a second, independently qualified linguist reviews every full translation before it’s delivered, checking against the source and against how the target text reads on its own. It’s not a spot-check on a sample; it’s a full second pass, every time, and it’s the single practice we’d point to if asked what actually keeps quality consistent here.
We use machine translation deliberately, as one tool among several — never as an undisclosed substitute for human translation, and never as the default. For some jobs (large low-stakes volumes, first drafts, internal reference material) a machine draft with a qualified human post-editor is genuinely the right, faster, cheaper choice, and we price it as its own service (MTPE) at its own, lower rate. For certified, legal, medical and anything brand-facing, we don’t recommend it, and we’ll say so before you pay for the wrong thing. Every full human translation, machine-assisted or not, is reviewed by a second qualified linguist before delivery.
| Human translation | Human + AI post-editing (MTPE) | Raw machine translation | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it’s for | Certified, legal, medical, contracts, anything brand-facing or high-stakes | Large low-stakes volumes, first drafts, internal reference material | Not sold here — we don’t offer this as an unreviewed deliverable |
| What it costs | Full per-word/page/hour rate | Lower per-word rate than full translation | — |
| When we’ll tell you not to buy the expensive one | We won’t upsell full translation where MTPE genuinely fits | We’ll tell you before you order if your material isn’t a good fit for MTPE | We’ll tell you if what you actually need is MTPE or full translation instead |

No — AI/MT is used only in the MTPE service, which you choose explicitly. Certified, legal, medical and standard full-translation work is done by human translators from the start.
No — it’s included in every full translation’s price by default; it’s not an upsell.
We don’t offer that as a deliverable — every service on this site includes qualified human involvement, at minimum a post-editor’s review.
By document length, complexity and your stated deadline — confirmed with the quote, not promised generically up front.
