What this is
More buyers now draft with AI or machine-translation tools and don’t know whether the result is safe to submit or publish — and many worry, reasonably, about being quietly sold raw machine output at a human price. We offer two clearly separate services here: proofreading, a human review of human-authored text, and MT post-editing (MTPE), a qualified linguist’s review and correction of a machine-translated draft.
Machine translation is a tool we use on purpose, not a shortcut we hide. When it fits the job — large low-stakes volumes, first drafts, internal reference material — a machine draft with a qualified human post-editor is genuinely the right, faster, cheaper choice, and we price it as its own service, at its own, lower rate than full human translation. For certified, legal, medical and anything brand-facing, we don’t recommend MTPE, and we’ll say so before you pay for the wrong thing.
Both are sold as word packs, so the price is known before you order.

How do I know if I need proofreading or MTPE?
If a person wrote your source text, choose proofreading. If a machine-translation tool produced it, choose MTPE. If you’re not sure, tell us and we’ll confirm before you order.
Will you tell me if my document shouldn’t be MTPE’d?
Yes — if your material is certified, legal, medical or brand-facing, we’ll say so and recommend full human translation instead, before you pay for the wrong service.
What if my word pack isn’t quite enough for my document?

Do you name which AI tool the source came from?
We don’t need to and don’t ask for a specific tool name — MTPE is priced and delivered the same way regardless of which tool produced the draft.
